Buenos Aires, 01 de diciembre de 2017 El Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación homenajeó a la Escuela de Danza Chakaymanta, de Mendoza, en el Museo de Casa Rosada. Con motivo de sus 45 años de trabajo, la asociación civil fue invitada a realizar una presentación artística. El homenaje fue declarado de Interés Cultural.

En el evento estuvieron presentes el ministro de Cultura de la Nación, Pablo Avelluto, el secretario de Cultura de Mendoza, Diego Gareca, la Directora de Gestión Territorial de la Secretaría de Cultura de la provincia Mendoza, Laura Uano, el secretario de Cultura y Creatividad, Andrés Gribnicow, y el subsecretario de Cultura Ciudadana, Nicolás Roibás.
