- I know it's not intentional; it's a matter of scale. On large wikipedias bot timing is only a matter of server load, as the number of human edits is so large that the bot edits will hardly be noticable. This makes it hard for botherds to realise that on a small wikipedia an unbitted bot could, for example, flood an entire Recent Changes with as slow a speed as 1 edit per 5 minutes.
